Our Proposals
Following further dialogue with community representatives and planning officers, we have updated our plans and are now looking to deliver:
Three high-quality buildings, providing 14,061sqm of flexible floorspace, capable of supporting a range of leading businesses, from local SMEs to national and international organisations.
More investment and support for Newham, creating up to £29.9million of Gross Value Added (GVA) to the local economy, and potentially £1.09 million of additional local spend by future employees.
Significantly reduce the number of car parking spaces from 163 to 12 (-151). These will all be fitted with electric charging stations as well, to encourage more sustainable travel.
Up to 391 job opportunities (full-time equivalent) for local residents, as well as 244 jobs (FTE) during the construction phase of works.
Significant public realm improvements across the site and along Rick Roberts Way, achieving a biodiversity net gain of 20%
A more sustainable estate, that will reduce on-site carbon emissions by 59% and target a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’ – surpassing the recognised industry standard, which will make the scheme air quality neutral.
